Unit Manager for Care Home

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse Unit Manager to join an amiable Care Home that is based in Manchester.

The Home provides specialist nursing, dementia and short term respite care for the Elderly and people living with dementia. The spacious home is built with modern facilities with refined lounges that have been designed to be easily used by people living with Dementia.

The successful Manager will receive a competitive salary of £17.00 per hour with great additional benefits.

As a Unit Manager you will be expected to:

• Ensure all elements of resident experience are positive, from admission to discharge. For example psychological considerations, safe custody of property, pain management and dignity.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines – identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively.
• Oversee all aspects of medicine management – ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered to our clients.
• Set in place rigorous monitoring and recording practice; documenting efficiently, and thoroughly all matters relating to our residents and employees.
• Proactively monitor all standards of care; undertaking audits and implementing corrective action where appropriate.
• To assist with all people management duties, including but not exclusively; recruitment, training and career development, performance management and effective delegation of duties.

To be considered for this role you must be registered with NMC and be a Registered Nurse.
