Warehouse Supervisor (172jc) – Mortimer, Berkshire – up to £35k + Benefits
My client is an exhibition design and build agency that have been established for over 20 years and they are now seeking to recruit a warehouse supervisor to become a key member of the team.
DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY.
You will be reporting to the Operations Manager, and you will be responsible for all of the logistical requirements of the company. They have a small storage area of about 4,000 sq ft, which stores the bulk of their exhibition stand materials as well as some of their client material. They also have a separate unit on the same estate that houses their AV screens, Lighting, Electrical Hardware and furniture which may be needed at various events across the UK and beyond.
Your role will basically break down into two differing roles:
• Goods Out, making sure that the installation team (s) have everything they need to fully install the exhibition and is picked and packed into loads that are easy to either collect or ship out to the locations.
• Goods In, once the exhibition is finished, the install team will then pack everything and return to location, and your role will be to check everything back into the site, making sure that everything has been checked and any damages are highlighted, and relevant action is initiated.
• You will also be required to keep an accurate stock inventory, showing what is out on display, when due back and where it is stored on site. As well as highlighting any potential shortages that may occur.

The ideal candidate would be someone who is seeking to join a family run type company, who can turn his hand to almost any task within the company and who has the ability to think on their feet to meet changing demands and deadlines.
In return they are offering a good starting salary as well as a decent benefits package which include 25 days + BH, company pension scheme, Mon to Fri with 40 hrs per week.
