RMN OR RNLD Nurse
Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Nurse of Learning Disabilities
A great position has opened for a RMN or RNLD Nurse to join a highly respectable Mental Health Hospital which is located in Devon.
The small bedded service provides specialist care for young people with mental health problems such as mood disorders, psychosis and post-traumatic stress disorders, personality disorders, bipolar disorder and many more.
The salary rate for this role is £14.54 per hour with great additional benefits which includes a £1,000 welcome bonus.
As a Registered Staff Nurse, you will be joining the Specialist Brain Injury and Neurological care service where you will be expected to:
· Participate with the multidisciplinary team in formulating care plans and utilising appropriate assessments
· Administer drugs and check preparations
· Provide assistance and clinical leadership in the induction/development and supervision of new and junior staff
· Regularly review risk factors and work in conjunction with other healthcare professionals to update care plans where required
· Ensure that clinical practice is evidence based and consistent
· Liaise effectively with everyone that are actively involved in the care process, including carers and relatives to ensure an effective and integrated service is provided to the patients/relatives
· Protect vulnerable adults/children from internal/external factors and act as a patient advocate
You will need to be a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Nurse of Learning Disabilities with a current registration with NMC for this role with the ability to maintain professional standards of practice at all times. You will be flexible and adaptable, well organised and able to manage time and workload effectively. You’ll have the ability to motivate, lead and supervise a team and have a professional approach to customer care.
To be considered for this role you must be a qualified RMN or RNLD Nurse with a current registration with NMC.
