Exciting job opportunity for Registered Nurse Unit Manager to work with one of the UK’s leading healthcare provider. As a Unit Manager you will be working in highly reputed service within the Newtownabbey.

The service provides nursing care and a range of programmes to support adults with autism, learning disabilities and nursing needs. Our aim is to develop independence and life skills. The service consists of three, six bed bungalows.

The successful candidate will be offered an excellent salary of £17.50 per hour plus other great benefits.

This specifically designed service has a homely and comfortable environment which has been created to enable person-centred care and support to assist people who cannot live in their own homes to maintain as much independence as possible.

 This is a great opportunity for an experienced nurse manager,  who will take responsibility for the Service users and staff in their Unit and ensure that all needs are met.

What we'd like from you:

·         Be a fully qualified nurse with a valid NMC PIN

·         Have recent relevant experience in a similar working environment dealing with the complex needs of service users.

·         Have recent relevant staff management experience, to include operational management of attendance, disciplinary and grievance, annual leave, appraisal and probation processes.

·         Have a working knowledge of RQIA standards and associated regulations.

·         Be willing to positively develop team members
