Our client offers a range of short stay, intermediate and respite care services for older people to enable them to return to their own home and to provide a break for carers.
As a Nurse your day to day duties include:
· Ensuring all elements of resident experience are positive, from admission to discharge.
· Ensuring the highest possible standards of care.
· Assessing residents' needs and wishes.
· Developing services to enhance their quality of life.
· Building the positive reputation of the Business.
· Liaise professionally with visitors and other external stakeholders
· Participate knowledgably and professionally to all inspection visits, ensuring your team is ready at all times to do the same.
· Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines.
· Identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively.
· Act as a reflective and developmental practitioner by participating to continual professional development and meeting the requirements of professional revalidation.
An ideal Nurse will be very confident, hardworking and will have the following skills which are beneficial for this role:
· Good Nursing Experience
· Excellent Clinical Skills
· Able to write Care Plans
· Able to show Empathy and warmth
· Able to carry out general nursing tasks such as Peg feeding, wound care, phlebotomy etc.
· Ensure the delivery of quality care by continually assessing our residents needs and wishes
· Assist in the development, review and update of care plans to meet our clients changing physical, social and psychological needs.
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £16.53 per hour and the annual salary for this position is £36,101.52. This exciting position is for 36 hours a week on nights. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
