A journalist or finance content writing background would be suitable for this role.

 As a Finance Content Writer, you will be instrumental in crafting compelling narratives that convey intricate financial information to a diverse audience. Reporting to the Content Manager, the Finance Content Writer will write a compelling long-form blog, newsletter and outreach articles on finance, tax, money-saving advice and related subjects, as well as for new outreach content to be published on partner blogs. Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate, with the ability to turn complex topics into accessible and engaging copy which speaks to our target audiences. You will have significant experience of writing on financial matters for both laypersons and qualified professionals. You will be accomplished at conducting robust research from authoritative sources, and will be happy to work to deadlines to meet the Group’s ambitious digital marketing objectives. 

• You will encompass in-depth research, interviewing key stakeholders, and generating precise and engaging digital content.

• You will write content for social media, website articles, reports and other digital content. 

• The ideal person will be a proven story teller skills. 

• You will be able to demonstrate written content across all forms of key platforms, and be able to conduct a content strategy. 

• You will also be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with ever-changing projects, and be able to work well in a team and independently. 

• Researching and crafting articles on various financial topics, including market trends, company performances, and economic indicators.

• Conducting interviews on podcast and video formats with industry experts, analysts, and company executives to gather insights and opinions.

• Staying informed about financial news and developments to identify emerging trends and opportunities. • Collaborating with the editorial team to ensure content aligns with editorial standards and is well-researched. Required:

• Proven content writing experience producing high-quality content for banks or UK monetary policy related industries. 

• You may either come from a content writing or journalist background. 

• Minimum 3 years’ content writing experience. 

• Ambitious, with a willingness to work to strict deadlines. 

• Keen interest in economics current affairs. 

• Impeccable written English language skills, with the ability to write in different styles where required. 

• Collaborative spirit. 

• Related qualification preferred.
