A fantastic job opportunity has just opened up for a committed Head Of Prison Health Care to work for one of UK's leading health care providers. You will be working in a highly reputed prison service within the Norwich area.

As the Head of Prison Health Care you will be responsible to provide Strategic, Operational Management and Leadership to the Healthcare team which includes Primary Care and Substance misuse and Pharmacy teams as well as contracted services including GPs, Physiotherapy and Podiatry  Mental Health Teams.

 

As the Head of Prison Health Care your day to day responsibilities include:

 

·       Working within the Senior Leadership team which includes a Clinical Lead Nurse, and Pharmacy Manager,

·       you will contribute to the improvement of prison healthcare services in line with the service specification and Service Development and Improvement Plans

·       ensuring compliance with Prison Service Orders & Instructions (PSOs & PSIs), NICE Guidance and National NHS Targets.

·       Working closely with the Specialised Services Directorate Quality Lead, Contract and Performance Manager and People and Service Business Partner

·       You will collaboratively ensure compliance to the contracted Service Key Performance Indicators and Health & Justice Indicators.

·       You will work closely with the Clinical Lead to continue the development of Long Term Conditions Pathways in the prison.

·         Full knowledge of the clinical and information governance agenda
