Sexual Health Nurse
An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Sexual Health Nurse to work with one of UK's leading health care providers. As a Sexual Health Nurse you will be working in an exceptional community health centre service within the Oldham area.
This special health centre provide consultation, advice and treatment from consultants, specialist GPs and specialist nurses for a wide range of dermatological problems (skin complaints).
As an Sexual Health Nurse your day to day duties include:
· You’ll have the option to join your clinical specialism, networking with professionals from across the country.
· Get together regularly, auditing and sharing standard methodology for innovation and service re-design.
· You’ll be a part of the pool of subject matter experts bringing together clinical and operational leads. You will be a part of quality improvements, research and development activity
· You will work with Band 6 nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Consultants and a dedicated administration team
· Provide high quality nursing care for patients attending the service
· You will deliver integrated sexual health provision to clients of all ages and from a diverse range of cultural and social backgrounds
· You will be expected to be flexible and able to travel to various locations across the localities
An ideal Sexual Health Nurse must have these skills and experiences as they are beneficial for this position:
· Be a first level registered nurse
· Hold a sexual health and/or GUM qualification
· Be coil and implant trained
· Have at least 2 years’ experience working as a sexual health nurse
The successful Sexual Health Nurse will receive an excellent Band 6 salary. This exciting position is a Part Time role working 15 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
