Energy Assessor (149dm) – Nationwide- £30K – 45k DOE

We have an exciting position within the energy sector.
Our client is after an Energy Assessor who ideally has a Level 4 Energy Assessor Certification (or some form of Energy assessor qualification/experience).

DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY.

This role is mainly remote based as it involves travelling UK wide to carry out assessments at sites either in the final construction or refurbishment stage.
There is a company car allowance and expensed mileage & accommodation (if required)

If you have Level 4 Energy Assessor Certification you will get the high end of the salary range.
They will pay for training if you do not have level 4 but you will start on the lower end of the salary range until training and probation have been completed
(performance and salary review will then be at around 6 months).
Once the initial induction period is over you will be left to plan your schedule based around the areas you need to visit and organise the timings of site visits.
For longer trips expensed overnight stays will be allowed.

You will need to demonstrate a good knowledge of HVAC systems, commercial lighting types and building fabrics.
Training will be given on in house SOPs and Audits. The company is based in the North West of England with a Scottish office but the role is remote with nationwide coverage.

Requirements:
• Will need to be happy being on the road as site visits around the UK are required.
• Word, excel and access database experience
• Familiar with Commercial buildings
• Comfortable taking photos of all elements and recording information.
- All elevations
- Lighting
- HVAC
- DHW
- Meters
• Ability to recognise different building fabrics, lighting types and HVAC systems
• Training on Energy Audits available
