Liferaft Technician (072jc) – Plymouth - £25k + Benefits

My client is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Liferaft Technician to join their team. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and reliability of life rafts, as you will be responsible for servicing them to meet strict safety specifications. Your work will help ensure that customers can depend on their life-saving equipment in emergencies.

DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY.

Ideally, candidates will have prior experience working with life rafts, within the marine industry, or in an engineering-based role. However, full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
• Service and maintain life rafts according to safety specifications and industry standards.
• Carry out inspections and checks to ensure equipment is in full working order.
• Follow detailed servicing procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work and report any issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficiency and high-quality service.

Prior experience with life rafts, the marine industry, or an engineering background is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Organised and methodical approach to work.

Benefits
