An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Clinical Lead to work with one of UK's leading healthcare providers. As a Clinical Lead you will be working within Lancashire
Our clients are a family run care group providing residential, nursing and dementia care for the elderly. They provide a full range of care for both long term and respite periods.
As a Clinical lead your day to day duties include:
· Working with the MDT to ensure that care provided is appropriate.
· Provide safe and effective processes for the ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording and disposal of drugs.
· Review and document care plans on a regular basis.
· Positively promote the home.
· Participate in training of newly qualified nurses.
· Participate in an on-call system to support the nurse in charge.
· Participate in supervision and training of new and existing staff.
· Complying with all legal and regulatory policies and procedures.
· Promoting choice, independence, dignity and respect.
· Adhering to the NMC Code and updating your professional knowledge.
An ideal clinical lead must have the following skills as they are beneficial to this position:
· You will need to have demonstrable experience supporting staff and elderly service users, preferably those with dementia.
· As well as being clinically responsible for certain operational areas
· You will also take a significant role in the management of the staff team
· Issues concerning sickness management,
· Staff training and development,
· Coaching and mentoring.
· You will have an effective way of communicating with your team
· Above all, act as a champion for the residents and staff
The successful Clinical Unit Lead will be offered an excellent salary of £17.50 per hour and the annual salary for this position is £40,040. This exciting position is for full time on day shifts only. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
