One of our client is the UK’s leading independent provider of specialist adult care services. Their aim is to provide the right support in the right home for all the individuals we accommodate.

This is a residential home for adults aged 18 plus, who have complex needs including autism, severe learning difficulties and associated challenging behaviours.

The home is situated in Leyland near Preston and consists of a detached house within its own grounds and a seperate annexe. The accommodation allows adults to both enjoy the advantages of communal living but to also practice independence skills within their own quiet space.

Knowledge & Skills

A sound working knowledge of the statutory requirements associated with care of the elderly is essential. A good understanding of budgets is desirable. The ability to write and implement marketing plans is desirable as is the importance of understanding the advantages of public relations activity and its positive impact in the nursing home environment.

Experience

To be considered for this excellent role you must hold NVQ qualification and have experience in healthcare in senior role.
