Health Visitor
An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Health Visitor to work with one of UK's leading health care providers. As a Health Visitor you will be working in a highly reputed service within the Salisbury area.
You will be working within the High post North and West team, you will work collaboratively with all agencies supporting children, by delivering high quality assessment, early intervention and advice to provide positive outcomes. You will be based in the South Wiltshire area, covering central Salisbury and surrounding military and rural areas.
As a Health Visitor your day to day duties include:
• Working with our multi-professional teams to facilitate multi-agency and interdisciplinary working
• Prescribe as appropriate from the Nurse prescribers formula
• Promote and maintain an effective service to clients
• Using the assessment framework, communication, negotiation and collaboration
• Prioritise own work in line with areas of highest risk, delegating work to the wider skill mix team appropriately.
An ideal Health Nurse must have these skills and must be able to meet these requirements as they are beneficial for this position:
• Current NMC registration, with a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse, Health Visiting qualification.
• As a Health Visitor you will offer child centred support to children and their families in line with the and Healthy Child Programme 4-5-6 model.
• Working with our skilled Community Nursery Nurses and wider Public Health Team
• You will reduce the impact of health inequalities to allow children to participate in daily life and inspire them to reach their full potential.
