Nursing Home seeking Deputy Manager

One of the leading Healthcare providers is currently seeking a Registered Nurse Deputy Manager to join one of their pristine Nursing Homes located within the Sheffield area.

The 50 bedded Home provide personalised care for the service users that are living with physical needs who require assistance and care. They offer palliative, residential and respite care that are tailored to every service user, within a tranquil environment.

If you are successful for this role you will receive a competitive salary of £16.50 per hour with great additional benefits such as childcare vouchers, pension, staff discounts and many more.

As the Deputy Manager within the home, you will be working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team while also making autonomous decisions. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service, participate in administration duties and ensure all required records are kept current and accurate to ensure validated audit trails. You’ll participate in the formulation, implementation and evaluation of individuals’ Care Plans, goals, Positive Behaviour Support Plans and risk assessments. As well as attend/participate in multi-disciplinary reviews for the service users and help undertake staff supervisions.

We are looking for someone who has previous Deputy Manager experience within a similar setting that can demonstrate commitment to their own personal development as well as the team. You will essentially have the ability to build solid working relationships and have strong management and leadership skills. You’ll have excellent organisation and communication skills. You will ultimately be driven to provide the best quality of care for the service users as well as the service.

To be considered for this role you must be a qualified Registered Nurse with experience within a similar position.
