Preceptor Nurse
An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Preceptor Nurse to work with one of UK’s leading healthcare providers of independent specialist secure and step-down care across the UK. As a Preceptor nurse you will be working with highly reputable hospital service within the Marchwood area.
This special hospital one of the country’s leading centres for a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, and stress. We are also able to provide expert outpatient treatment for eating disorders.
As a Preceptor Nurse your day to day duties include:
•You will be responsible for contributing to the holistic assessment, planning delivery and evaluation of care to patients within their own homes both independently and as part of the wider multidisciplinary team.
•You’ll support patients and their families in the way that you believe is best, delivering our high service standards, sharing best practice, and actively improving the way we work
•Deliver positive experiences to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey.
As an ideal Preceptor Nurse you must have these skills and be able to meet the requirements as they are beneficial for this position:
· Open, compassionate, honest & resilient
· Newly Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disability Nurse
· Capable to maintain documentation and undertake audits
· Able to deputise in a clinical lead role
· Focused on patient recovery to monitor, manage & reduce risk
· Helping to empower & support service user independence
The successful Preceptor Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £23,340.00 and on completing of the preceptorship your salary will then be increased to £27,000.
