This care home offers a mixture of residential and dementia care and provides short term respite care to help others take a break from their caring roles

**To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care**

As a Care Assistant your key duties include:

·         Acting as a key worker to some residents, and ensuring care plans are up to date and accurate

·         Providing personal care to the residents, ensuring dignity and respect are maintained at all times

·         Supporting new members of the team and providing constructive feedback

·         Encouraging independence as much as possible

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

·         Previous experience of working in a care environment

·         Previous experience of working with older people

·         A shared understanding and the ability to demonstrate our four key values

·         A caring, compassionate personality

·         Reliability and punctuality
