My client, who is an international manufacturing with over 360,000 personnel across the globe are now seeking to recruit an experience Electrician/Electrical Technician for its St Neots site.

My client supplies customers with tailored solutions for driving, controlling, and moving - for industrial, mobile applications and factory automation, supplying a diverse customer base across various industry sectors.
They currently have a vacancy for an Electrician based at their St Neots facility but expected to work occasionally at our Wakefield site, according to the needs of the business.
The role is complex, bespoke work that requires a meticulous and experienced approach, carrying out all electrical installation and wiring to the highest of standards. At their St Neots facility they are assembling and testing hydraulic engineered solutions for a number of industry sectors. The role may also require undertaking electrical work in our service and repair facility.
You will need to be a strong communicator able to work autonomously from drawings and work instructions, taking a collaborative approach to working with our design engineers when necessary to make ensure a right first-time approach.
You will not only carry out all installation and wiring, but you will also have responsibility for the completion of all necessary paperwork, including but not limited to stores requisitions, rectification sheets and job completion sheets accurately and on time.
Occasionally you may be required to carry out on site installation, and you will also be able to travel to our Wakefield site as required to carry out scheduled work there which is planned in advance.
To be eligible for this role you will need the following:
• C&G / HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
• C&G 2391-** Installation and Commissioning
• C&G 2382-18 18th Edition
You will need all of the above qualification to cover:
• Fault finding and repair.
• Overhaul and testing of 3 phases.
• 400V distribution systems
• 3 phase motor & control circuits
• Inverter drives
• PLC & PC control systems
• 230V lighting and distribution systems
• 24VDC sensors
• transducers and encoders
And also, the following are highly desirable:
• SAP R3 or similar integrated system
• ATEX/COMPEX certification an advantage
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office products
