Clinical Lead Nurse Required

Our client is one of the leading Healthcare Providers that are currently seeking a Clinical Lead to join pristine Nursing Home that is located within the Stockport area.

The large sized home specialises in providing personalised nursing, residential and respite care for the elderly. They pride themselves with delivering high standards of care to enhance their quality of life.

This is a full time role and salary is £17.50 per hour with great additional benefits.

As a Clinical Lead you will be expected to provide specialist nursing support and advice, take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence and supervise/coach colleagues to deliver a service that is unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.

Your main duties will be to:

·         Continually assess the residents’ needs and develop the service to enhance their quality of life

·         Developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet the clients changing physical, social and psychological needs

·         Building a positive reputation of the home and unit

·         Ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines

·         Ensuring all medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered

·         Conducting care audits

·         Taking an active role in training the team of nurses and ensure they are kept up to date with current practices and research led developments

·         Ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place to ensure the efficient running of the home

You will need the following skills and experience:

·         Qualified Registered Nurse

·         Current NMC registration

·         Experience within a senior role

·         Experience with person centred care planning within a care home

You must be a qualified Registered Nurse and have experience within a senior position to be considered for this role.
