We have a fantastic job opportunity for RMN Clinical Services Manager to manages and direct the clinical services operation (nursing and therapy) within a hospital, as part of the Senior Management Team, ensuring delivery of an optimum level of clinical care and treatment to all hospital patients.

The Hospital specialises in the treatment of mental health issues and has an excellent reputation for the highest standard of mental healthcare provision. The Hospital’s core services focus on general Adult Psychiatry, an Addiction Treatment Programme and a comprehensive Day Therapy programme.

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced healthcare professional and registered RMN.  This post would be suited to someone who already has experience in a similar role which includes budgeting, staff management, clinical governance, CQC inspections etc.

Key Accountabilities

1. Manages the effective implementation of clinical interventions and treatment designed to enhance the operation and quality of clinical services evaluating through clinical governance and audit.

2. Manages and develops a highly skilled and motivated workforce through recruitment, selection, development and performance management processes.

3. Manages the delivery of the clinical services business plan ensuring the effective and efficient management and control of staffing, budgets, materials and equipment.

A broad range of well developed communication skills are essential as there is a need for this role to manage highly complex and sensitive situations which require practised presentation, communication, negotiation and conciliation skills to influence the outcome of various patient centred and staff related situations.

The role holder will have relevant experience, together with previous supervisory/managerial experience for a group of professional staff.
