Nurse Deputy Home Manager
An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home service based in Thames Ditton, Surrey area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This care home offers all types of care, including residential care, nursing care and dementia care for people who need help with daily tasks
**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Nurse either RGN, RMN or RNLD Nurse with a valid NMC Pin**As the Deputy Manager your key responsibilities include:
· Lead and inspire the team to deliver special experiences to residents, which promote choice and independence to make a positive difference to their lives
· Achieve the highest possible standards of care and enhance the resident experience, ensuring that all company policies, regulations, Codes of Conduct and care plans are adhered to
· Work with the Home Manager to implement care home policies around standards care, staff welfare and training and develop an excellent reputation
· Develop personal contact with residents, their relatives and visitors to enhance the residents quality of life
· Deputise in the overall management of the care home including production of reports, budgets & Quality of Life monitoring
· Take responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of yourself and others, including colleagues, residents and visitor to the Home and alerting the officers responsible to any hazards or potential risks to health and safety
· Ensure you are the team attend training days and courses to ensure learning records are maintained and individuals are developed
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
· The ability to lead a team, analyse problems and propose solutions or improvements
· Able to communicate effectively and to develop professional relationships
· Understands and effectively uses IT and communication systems required for the role
· Respectful of the values, views and needs of others
· Able to work under pressure and prioritize workload
· Experience of delivering nursing care within elderly health care sector
· Experience of participating in quality and clinical governance programmes
