An amazing job opportunity has just arisen for a committed RGN, RMN, and RNLD to work for one of the UK’s leading health care providers. As a nurse you will be working in the Surrey area
This beautiful and luxurious care home provides luxurious interior designed accommodation for 90 residents specialising in the provision of outstanding nursing, residential and dementia care within its beautiful modern facilities
As a Nurse, your day to day duties will include:
· Ensure the highest possible standards of care, assessing residents' needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life
· Champion appropriate independence and personal choice; developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet our residents physical, social and psychological needs
· Ensure all elements of resident experience are positive, from admission to discharge
· Act as a reflective and developmental practitioner participating to continual professional development and meeting the requirements of professional revalidation
· Support, guide, teach and mentor others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times
· Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift – ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered, in accordance with company policies and current legislation
· Participate knowledgably and professionally to all inspection visits, ensuring your team is ready at all times to do the same
· Understand the key targets of your host home and support the Home Manager in their achievement by promoting and practicing high standards of nursing care and ensuring staff and shifts are supervised in a smooth
An ideal Nurse should be a hardworking, confident individual and must have these skills and knowledge as they are beneficial for this position:
· The ability to lead a team, analyse problems and propose solutions or improvements
· Able to communicate effectively and to develop professional relationships
· Experience of delivering nursing care within elderly health care sector
· Experience of participating in quality and clinical governance programmes
· Able to show a can-do attitude always
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of up to £18.50 per hour. We currently have vacancies for either days or night shifts available. In return for all your hard work and commitment you will receive the following benefits:
