Day Lead Nurse Required

A fantastic position has opened for a Lead Nurse to join a reputable Nursing Home located in Telford.

The home offers range of care services, for those requiring residential care and companionship, to full nursing care and specialist dementia support. Staffs treat every resident as an individual, always with dignity, respect and compassion.

If you are successful for this position you will receive a competitive salary of £17.00 per hour  with great additional benefits.

You duties will be to:

·         Manage the effecting implementation of clinical interventions and treatment designed to enhance the operation and quality of clinical services evaluating through clinical governance and audit

·         Contribute to the developments of policies, procedures, processes and initiatives of the company

·         Ensure clinical services comply with statutory regulations and current legislation meet quality standards

·         Manage and develop the workforce through recruitment, selection, development and performance management processes

·         Manage the delivery of the clinical service business plan to ensure the effective and efficient management and control of staff, budgets, materials and equipment

·         Support and contribute to the maintenance of the business relationship with referrers and prospective purchasers

For this role you must have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

·         RGN, RMN or RNLD Nurse qualification

·         A recognised post-registration qualification

·         Current registration with NMC

·         Previous supervisory/managerial experience

·         Financial and people management skills

To be considered for this role you must be a qualified RGN, RMN or RNLD with experience within a senior position.
