An outstanding job has just arisen for a motivated RGN, RMN OR RNLD to work with one of UK’s leading care company in UK Within their beautiful Nursing home based in the Telford.

This specialist care home offers luxury accommodation and the highest standards of quality residential nursing, palliative and specialist care for up to 71 residents including those with Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related illnesses.

As a Nurse your day to day duties include:

• Providing leadership and support for support staff and act as a champion for residents’ safety and dignity
• Maintaining skills and knowledge and ensure that care is delivered according to latest guidelines and best practice evidence available
• Ensuring the ongoing safety of service users, residents, staff and visitors through systematic assessment, monitoring and reviewing processes
• Ensuring that clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to clinical and care delivery are maintained and effectively used
• Acting as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice
• Taking charge of the unit regularly and, in the absence of the management team, accepting responsibility for the smooth and effective running of the unit
• Helping to maintain the security of the building and its environment

An ideal Nurse must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:

·         Provide both residential and nursing care to older people.

·         Able to show empathy and warmth

·         A bubbly and outgoing personality

·         Dementia experience

·         Able to write care plans

·         Assist in assessments

·         Having knowledge of mental health would be advantage

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £17.00 per hour and the annual salary for this full time position is £38,896 per annum.  We currently have vacancies for both days and night shifts only.
