Maintenance Operative/General Handyperson (329jc) – Twyford, Berkshire – circa £35k + Benefits.

We have been asked to recruit for an experienced and skilled multi-trave craftsperson to join a small team for a private family estate in Twyford in Berkshire,

DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY.

They are seeking someone who as a good carpentry as their core skill, but the role is much wider, encompassing basic plumbing, fencing, repairs to doors, windows, walls, furniture, false ceiling repairs/replacement and decoration at a basic level, with more technical or larger complex repairs and rebuilds being outsourced to registered companies.

Therefore, you will need to have good all-round ability and must be capable of working on your own initiative to undertake planned and reactive maintenance, along with general maintenance duties within the Estate environment.

Flexibility and good communication skills are vital. Proof of qualifications will be required; however qualified-by-experience may be considered. A full, clean, current driving licence is required.

This is a full-time role, Mon to Fri 8am to 4.30, with company pension and 20 days holiday + Bank holidays and they are looking to offer a salary circa £35k per annum.
