Psychologist
An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Psychologist to work in an exceptional mental health hospital based in the Wadhurst, East Sussex area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This hospital has a reflective location that allows staff to provide a highly therapeutic environment, making the perfect place for individuals to receive specialist, privately-funded therapy & treatment for a range of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety and stress, as well as outpatient support for addictions
**You must be BABCP accredited CBT Therapist, or a clinical or counselling psychologist**
As the Psychologist your key responsibilities include:
· Be responsible for providing high quality clinical assessments
· You will support with the delivery of a full ward programme which will include facilitating groups and managing a case load of patient for individual therapy sessions
· Use a range of psychological therapies including dialectical behavioural therapy
· Will be involved in Risk Assessments and Management
· Delivering full programme for groups and individuals for therapy primarily using DBT/CBT, Risk Assessments and Management
· Work creatively and flexibly to develop and implement innovative practice and service developments as well as working from established evidence base
· Will be supported by an Assistant Psychologist and you will be responsible for their clinical supervision
· Responsible for completing patient reports, inputting data on care notes, completing 16 week timetable
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
· Minimum of 2 years experience in working in mental health services
· Promote good communication skills written and verbally
· Ensure audit compliance (CQC)
· Able to show a can-do attitude always
The successful Psychologist will receive an excellent salary up to £60,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
