An exciting job opportunity has just arisen for a motivated RGN, RMN or RNLD to work with one of the UK’s leading health care company. We are looking for a passionate and caring individual with a proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team within a highly reputable service based in Wallsend.
This beautiful Care home offer residential care for people who need help with daily tasks, nursing care for those who have complex medical needs, and respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break.
As a Nurse your day to day duties include:
· Ensuring the highest possible standards of care,
· Assessing residents' needs and wishes.
· Developing services to enhance their quality of life.
· Championing appropriate independence and personal choice.
· Developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet our residents physical, social and psychological needs.
· Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift
· Ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered, in accordance with company policies and current legislation.
· Building the positive reputation of the Business
· Liaise professionally with visitors and other external stakeholders.
· Participate knowledgably and professionally to all inspection visits, ensuring your team is ready at all times to do the same.
· Ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines – identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively.
An ideal nurse must have the following skills and knowledge as they are beneficial for this role:
· Must be a NMC Registered Nurse
· The ability to lead a team, analyse problems and propose solutions or improvements
· Able to communicate effectively and to develop professional relationships
· Understand and effectively use IT and communication systems
· Be Respectful of the values, views and needs of others
· Able to work under pressure and prioritise workload
· Experience of delivering nursing care within elderly health care sector
· People Management experience
· Experience of participating in quality and clinical governance programmes
The successful nurse will receive an excellent salary of £15.38 per hour. This exciting position is for 38.5 hours per week on nights. In return of all their hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits.
