Job description:

Westwood Recruitment are seeking a skilled and experienced Joiner to join our client for an exciting hotel project. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping installing the facia of the building. This role is crucial in ensuring the hotel's exterior is both aesthetically pleasing and well-insulated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately cut CP (Cement Particle) boards to specified dimensions.
• Install CP boards on the external facade of the building.
• Follow up with the installation of insulation boards to enhance the building's thermal efficiency.
• Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations on site.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Joiner, preferably with experience in external facade work.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to the trade.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Requirements:

• Relevant certifications or qualifications in carpentry/joinery.
• Previous experience working with CP boards and insulation materials is highly desirable.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
