Staff Nurse for Mental Health Hospital

A great position has opened for a Registered Nurse to join a Mental Health Hospital based in Willenhall.

The service specialise in managing 18 to 25 year olds complex needs in a safe and therapeutic environment, to support and promote their independence.

The successful Nurse will receive a competitive salary of £21,918 - £33,657 per annum plus fantastic additional benefits such as career development; life assurance; private medical insurance; personal health insurance; private dental cover; free meals on duty and many more.

As a Registered Nurse you will be expected to:

·         Provide leadership and support for support staff and act as a champion for residents’ safety and dignity

·         Maintain skills and knowledge and ensure that care is delivered according to latest guidelines and best practice evidence available

·         Ensure the ongoing safety of service users, residents, staff and visitors through systematic assessment, monitoring and reviewing processes

·         Ensure that clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to clinical and care delivery are maintained and effectively used

·         Act as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice

·         Take charge of the unit regularly and, in the absence of the management team, accept responsibility for the smooth and effective running of the unit

·         Help to maintain the security of the building and its environment
