Ward Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for dynamic and innovative individuals who are keen to make a difference to people’s lives to join excellent service and become as a ward manager for a brand new service in Willenhall for women with mental health needs.
The company is one of the UK's leading providers of independent specialist secure and step-down care across the UK.
The successful candidate will be offered an excellent salary £40,000 per annum plus other great benefits.
Our Ward Manager role involves:
· Shift/resource management
· Effective strategic resource management
· Performance management of junior staff
· Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, government and best practice
· Discipline and grievance issues
· Serious incident reviews and implementation of recommendations
· Ward Budget management. Monitoring, evaluating and ensuring effective use of resources
· Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation
Qualifications/Experience
To be successful as a Ward Manager you’ll need:
· Experience of management and leadership and prioritising key tasks in relation to your sphere of work
· Demonstrable post registration experience
· Experience of working in a supervisory capacity
· Experience of secure environment and interdisciplinary teamwork
· Experience of assessing and teaching junior staff
· Experience of report writing and demonstrable skill of maintaining contemporaneous clinical notes
