Maintenance Technician (188dm) – Wolverhampton – Circa £38900

Job Summary

Our client is looking to recruit a Maintenance Technician to join their team based in Wolverhampton.
This role is shift based - 6.00 -14.00 and 14.00 - 22.00 which has a shift allowance as well
Working 37 hours on the day shift finishing at 11:30 on Fridays

As a skilled Maintenance Technician, you’ll help to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair of CNC equipment within the machine shop.
Working with a wide range of machinery, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of CNC and manufacturing equipment.

Maximising machine uptime, your expertise in maintenance and repair of equipment will have a direct impact on our ability to boost and then maintain production.
To do this, you’ll need to work as part of a team, using the knowledge and experience of the Operators, Team Leaders, and Production Managers as well as working with them when it comes to planned maintenance.

Key Expertise
-Knowledge of machine shop equipment
-Ability to read and interpret schematics to formulate repair solutions
-Understanding of machining/manufacturing principles
-Apprenticeship trained or equivalent
-4+ years experience

Security Clearance
-Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
