Band 5/6 Physiotherapist
An excellent new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Band 5/6 Physiotherapist to work in an exceptional care service based in the Worcester area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers
This service provides neurorehabilitation, recovery, and residential care for those aged 18+ living with complex neurological conditions, brain and spinal injuries and stroke
**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a physiotherapist registered with the HCPC**
As a Physiotherapist your key responsibilities include:
• You’ll responsible and accountable for physiotherapy assessments and treatment of highly complex neurological conditions
• Participate in collecting and analysing clinical audit data and use of relevant outcome measure, carry out clinical risk assessments and complete risk management plans
• Advise on mobility and manual handling devices and positioning equipment for residents, and document recommendations and guidance accordingly
• Identify and source specialist equipment for all residents with complex physical needs; ensuring all therapy equipment is well maintained, clean and safe to use
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Experience of a specialist neurological care environment
• Possess relevant qualifications to work as a physiotherapist
• Good teamwork skills, collaborating with other health professionals
• Excellent verbal communicating skills to clearly share information with patients and fellow employees
• Strong analytical skills to correctly diagnose conditions and develop effective treatment programs
The successful Physiotherapist will receive an excellent salary of £36,989.69 - £39,834.96 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 40 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
