An exciting opportunity has arisen to join as a Marketing Manager for an established publisher based in Yorkshire.

Working closely with the senior management team you will primarily be tasked with developing planned programmes whilst also developing, implementing and monitoring strategies to support overall sales and publishing objectives.

The role responsibilities include:

• Developing and shaping the marketing strategy.
• Contributing marketing material for key projects
• Building strong relationships with the business stakeholders
• Managing the Marketing Executive
• Ensuring the marketing schedules and promotions of titles are delivered using appropriate marketing streams such as online ads, emails, social media as well as print collateral.
• Researching and analysing trends
• Creating content for digital marketing streams such as the website, social media accounts, blogs etc.
• Writing content for both online and offline marketing – newsletters, emails, brochures, leaflets etc.
• Identifying new marketing opportunities.
• Reporting on all marketing activity and ensuring positive ROI.
• Managing budgets

This is very much a ‘well rounded’ marketing manager role where you will get involved with both strategic and tactical activity. To be considered you will be required to have at least two or three years’ management experience in a publishing marketing environment, encompassing both traditional and digital marketing. During this time you will have built a demonstrable record of being able to put original ideas into practice, whilst also having the communication skills to create and develop business relationships.
