Care Home Manager
An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Care Home Manager to manage a brand new care home opening soon based in the Norwich, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading healthcare providers
This care home will open its doors this spring of 2023 and will offer residential, dementia, nursing and respite care in a modern, purpose-built environment
**To be considered for this position you must hold a current active NMC Pin OR *Will accept those who hold an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care**As the Care Home Manager your key responsibilities include:
· Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, ensuring all staff are supported and always promoting independence and well-being by ensuring that residents’ personal, psychological, and social care needs are met. You will be the focal point of all family, resident and professionals contact in the home
· Provide inspirational leadership and daily management
· Undertake regular staff recruitment, embedding an open culture to empower your staff to be the best team possible, always looking to demonstrate our values of being Proud, Supportive and Caring
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
· Essential that you have 4 years’ experience in the care home sector with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management position
· Sound knowledge of the Care Standards Act 2000, Key Lines of Enquiry, Safeguarding and the MCA
· You will have the super-human characteristics of being efficient whilst always putting people first, showing kindness and still have energy to love life and make it meaningful for yourself and those in your care
The successful Care Home Manager will receive an excellent salary up to £60,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role for 40 hours a week working through Day Shifts. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
